Stone Spell for Pain Relief

Find a smooth round stone and rub it over the area(s) where you feel pain. Then take a nail or a marker and draw an X on the surface.

On the night of the new moon, take the stone to a lake or a pond or some body of water, and throw the stone in, saying:

Stone I cast away from me
I pray you, take my pain with thee

And of course, keep up with whatever medical measures you’re taking as well. Magic is a helper, not a substitute.

Healing Poppet Spell

Get yourself some sage, parsley, and thistle. (If you can’t find thistle, fennel will do.)

Roll small pinches of the dried herbs together with the melted wax drippings from a green or white candle. (Green is preferable, but white can be substituted.)

Make a person-shaped figure from the wax and name it thus:

"Poppet, I name you Sickness. As you diminish, so shall [name]’s illness diminish. As you are destroyed, so shall [name] be restored."

Burn the poppet in a fire-safe dish until it is completely melted down to greasy ash. Wait for the bowl to cool, then rinse out the ash and either bury it or cast it into running water.

Healing Spell for a Cat or Dog

A very simple healing spell for your furbaby is to acquire or make a little cat-shaped figurine. You can use plain old modeling clay for this, it doesn’t have to be anything fancy.

Take some of your cat’s fur and place it into a dish with dried basil, parsley, and catnip. Place the figurine in the center and carefully drip three spoonfuls of water over the head.

Let the bowl rest overnight, then retrieve the figurine in the morning and let your kitty sniff the bowl of herbs. (Don’t let them drink the water or eat the plants.)

The procedure for dogs is exactly the same, only with a substitution of fennel for catnip.

Note: If your pet is sick or injured, don't rely solely on magic to make them well. Take them to a vet at the earliest opportunity. Better safe than sorry.
